The power of 4

So picking on color pallet is really difficult. When it came to this one I couldn't make the final commitment....Ok so I lied. The original design that I decided on can be found here: http://rewinde.deviantart.com/#/d3i1xh5   But I'm really glad that I used hue saturation in Photoshop to see what possible outcomes I could get. Over all I'm pleased with these as well as the original. Enjoy

Batman Beyond water skim

OK so this sanctifies it. although I got some good  exercise out of the piece, I'm not to happy how hit turned out all the way. Most of it is due to how long i spent working on it, but also on the coloring technique.

I need more practice because my coloring skills are not the sharpest anyway. But the other thing that irritated me is that I originally wanted to put Ace ( older Bruce Wayne's Dog) in the composition. But then I realized that I suck at drawing animals and there anatomy, especially in perspective. So from this point on I'm devoting my time to brushing up things that I need to study, such as animals, babies, plants and other natural things I need more practice in. STAY TUNED for that this month. And I hope you enjoy this last piece of my fan art series.....for now.

Naruto Meets B-Beyond

Yeah, sooner or later it was bound to happen. A Batman Beyond Naruto cross over. So originally I just wanted to do another B-Beyond image. But then I started thinking about some new gadgets he and Bruce could come up with. A few pop-corned ideas down the line and I came up with this. Ever since I watched Naruto for the first time, I could stop thinking of the Supper sized Shuriken scene with Sasuke

So that's how I came up with the whole Super Sized Death Bat-arang concept. I pretty pleased with the piece over all. But the anatomy on the torso is really wired and the feathering on the right side of the page is looking a bit off. But other than than that I hope you enjoy.

Batman Beyond Fanart

So this summer I'm tying to work on drawing characters that are not my own. Although i Looovvve reading superhero comics, I've always had this stubborn ideology that if you want to make comics you should never copy other characters and that you should constantly make your own characters and ideas. I realize now that only half of that may or may not be right. But in the industry a lot of creators also do work for books that's not there own. so this is my sort of getting back those lost years of not doing fan art. for the rest of this month I will be making art for some of my favorite DC and Marvel characters. Keep in tuned for more.

What new World Awaits!!!

So its kinda weird, but after completing four long hard, grueling years at the CAD, part of me is less relived and more saddened by having graduated already. I admit though, I am overdue for a break and am really enjoying the R and R that im getting. But I'm really going to miss being apart of MCAD. the Minneapolis College of Art and Design has though me so much in the amount of time that I was in attendance. Probably a lot more than I expected. But now that I'm done with school I'm starting to truly recognize what MCAD helped me achieve.

I can say that I am fully equip with knowledge and skills that far surpass what I had when I came in. And beyond that I gained so many friends and future colleges in this art world that I'm scrambling to break into and make a name for myself. Being able to attend, experience and come out of the other side of MCAD is truly a privilege and i am super thankful for that. All the more why i am writing this. i guess this is my sorta thank you the the invisible MCAD force that resides in those stone wall.

SO....thank you MCAD for all that you put me though and equipped me with. because of you sleepless nights means nothing to me :P
